Join Committees
MEMBERSHIP
The membership committee shall promote the organization and encourage membership. The
committee shall be tasked with recruitment and retention of members.
MENTORSHIP
The mentorship committee shall be tasked with matching mentors and mentees each calendar
year. They shall also provide education for mentors and mentees participating in the program.
EDUCATION
The education committee shall be responsible for managing and coordinating educational
activities. They shall be responsible for obtaining accreditation for such activities and organize
collaboration with organizations that share the goals and mission of VAMPA.
FUNDRAISING
The fundraising committee shall be responsible for managing and coordinating fundraising
efforts for the organization. They shall be responsible for gaining corporate sponsors, donors,
and grants.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
The media committee shall be responsible for working with the website manager to maintain
the organization’s website. They shall also be responsible for writing, and publishing blog
material as well as regular social media posts. The chairperson shall serve as a spokesperson for
the organization along with the President and Vice President. All publications must be approved
by the President or Vice President.
